How to Get Help from Kenotay250project®

To determine whether we can help you, we must screen you for eligibility. This is to deter-mine if you are income – eligible (low income) and if your Legal problem is something we can handle. During this brief conversation, a member of our Intake team will gather demo-graphic information, including household size, income and asset information, will conduct a required check for conflicts of interest that might prevent us from taking your case ( e.g., the opposing party is already a client of ours).

There are ways to apply for our services:

Email with the subject “HELP”. Provide us your essential infor-mation such as name, telephone number, brief description of your problem. We will then contact you because you will still need to speak to an intake paralegal to complete the application.

In Person

Do I Qualify for Services?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept everyone who applies for our services. We are restricted from doing so by a combination of limited resources and by regulation. The number of and type of cases Kenotay250project® can take are based on our available resources. From time to time, the number of applicants and their needs may exceed what we can handle. If this happens, we will give referrals to other resources if possible.

Our program only serves low-income clients. Applicants must meet income requirements and asset eligibility. Also, the project has several different levels of case priorities which will determine the type of case and the level of service we will provide.
